Trachtenberg began her acting career at the age of 3 and made her first credited role on a Nickelodeon series “ The Adventures of Pete & Pete”.
She’s most known for her roles as Dawn Summers on “ Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and Georgina Sparks on “ Gossip Girl”.
Trachtenberg has died at the age of 39. Police responded to an emergency call and found the actress unconscious and unresponsive, so she was pronounced dead on the scene.
A cause of death has not yet been determined however, we do know the actress had recently undergone a liver transplant.
