New York Mets manager Carlos Mendoza announced on Saturday that the team will be without utility player Jeff McNeil for the remainder of the regular season.
McNeil was hit by a pitch on Friday night against the Cincinnati Reds fracturing his wrist.
The recovery time is four to six weeks so McNeil could possibly return late into a potential playoff run.
