Mattel is apologizing for the misprint on the box of the new “Wicked” dolls which is leading to a pornographic website instead of the official movie website. The packaging should have read “WickedMovie.com,” which would have led to the movie website that stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, but instead it is printed as “Wicked.com,” which is an adult film site.
Mattel said in a statement, “We deeply regret this unfortunate error and are taking immediate action to remedy this.” Mattel is advising consumers to “discard the product packaging or obscure the link” and advises parents that the listed website is “not appropriate for children.”
The movie is set to come out in theaters on November 22.
