The suspect accused of fatally shooting 8 people in Joliet, Illinois has died after shooting himself in Natalia, Texas.
U.S. Marshals located Romeo Nance, 23, in Natalia, TX (about 1,000 miles from San Antonio) after a citizen called in a tip. Officials said Nance took his own life with a handgun after a stand off with several law enforcement agencies at a gas station.
One victim was found on Sunday, while five were found in one house and two in another nearby house on Monday.
It is believed that Nance knew his victims, but a motive is undetermined at this time or the reason why he travelled to Texas or if he had connections there.
