The Seattle Mariners have acquired outfielder Randy Arozarena from the Tampa Bay Rays for right-handed pitching prospect Brody Hopkins, minor league outfielder Aidan Smith, and a player to be named later.
Arozarena is hitting just .211 this season for the Rays with 15 HR's and 16 stolen bases over 100 games.
The Mariners hold a 53-51 record sitting just one game behind the Houston Astros and 3.5 games back of the final AL wild-card spot.
