Manhunt For Maine Mass Shooter

Wednesday night, just before 7 p.m., a deadly shooting at a bowling alley and a bar and grille in Lewiston, Maine have police searching for the suspect.

Authorities have named Robert Card, 40, as their main suspect in the fatal shooting spree he allegedly went on. Card was seen on video surveillance leaving the Just-In-Time Recreational bowling alley, where he opened fire and left 7 people dead. He then travelled about 4 miles to Schemengees Bar and Grille, again opened fire, leaving 8 more dead, and 3 more were pronounced dead at local area hospitals.

A total of 18 people have died, and 13 others are injured right now.

Of the eight people in the hospital right now, 5 are listed stable and 3 are in critical condition.

Card is a petroleum supply specialist in the US Army Reserves, and a certified firearms instructor.

Card also had been committed to a mental health facility over the summer for two weeks after he heard voices and threatened to shoot up a National Guard base in Maine.

The white Subaru hatchback registered to Card was found at the Pejepscot boat ramp in Lisbon, Maine about 9 miles away from Schemengees, on the Androscoggin River.

Residents of Androscoggin County are asked to shelter in place, and not to approach or make contact with Card, if seen. Many schools and businesses are closed. Card is considered armed and extremely dangerous.

Authorities are asking anyone who sees Card, or has any information to call 911 or the Maine State Police tip lines at 207-213-9526 or 207-509-9002.
