The NFL has fined Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes for comments they made after their loss to the Buffalo Bills in week 14.
Andy Reid was fined $100,000 for violating the league rules on public criticism of game officials.
Patrick Mahomes was fined $50,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct for abusive, threatening, or insulting language to league officials, and violating the league's policy on criticism of officiating crews.
*** In the game against the Bills the officials ruled that Chiefs wideout Kadarius Toney was offside. On the play they scored what would've been a potential game winning touchdown with under 2 minutes left in the game. The play was called back due to the offsides and the Chiefs were unable to score the rest of the drive and went on to lose the game 20-17.
*** Replays show Toney was clearly offside.
