Madonna Fan Suing for ‘Pornography Without Warning’

Justin Lipeles, a Madonna fan attending her concert on March 7 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California has filed a lawsuit on Wednesday alleging that he and the entire audience of concertgoers were subjected to unwanted sexual exposure. Live Nation; the concert promoter, is also named in the suit, along with Forum Entertainment, Kia Forum, Acrisure Arena, the Golden 1 Center and the Chase Center.

Lipeles alleges the audience was subjected to “pornography without warning,” which included “topless women on stage simulating sex acts.” Lipeles is also claiming that Madonna had the air conditioning turned off during the concert, which caused him to get sick in the sweltering heat, and also claims that Madonna lip-synched through some of the performances, when the audience was promised a live show.

The lawsuit goes on to allege that Madonna and Live Nation “lulled” concertgoers into purchasing “expensive tickets” to the Celebration Tour and “purposely and deceptively” withheld information in its marketing, in addition to “false advertising” with the start time of 8:30 p.m., when she didn’t appear on stage until 10 p.m. or later.

The complaint read, “Forcing consumers to wait hours in hot, uncomfortable arenas and subjecting them to pornography without warning is demonstrative of Madonna’s flippant disrespect for her fans.”

There hasn’t been a comment from Madonna or her representatives on the lawsuit.
