The Detroit Lions are signing offensive tackle Penel Sewell to a 4-year, $112 million contract extension. The deal includes $85 million in guaranteed money.
Sewell's contract will make him the highest paid offensive lineman in both average annual salary and in guaranteed money.
This makes the Lions second record setting extension of the day.
