Inter Miami soccer superstar Lionel Messi returned from an ankle injury he got during the Copa America final in July to break more Major League Soccer (MLS) records. Messi scored 2 goals and assisted in a third in the 3-1 victory over the Philadelphia Union.
Messi, the Argentinian legend, became the fastest player to score 15 goals and 15 assists in only 19 MLS matches. The same record was held by Sebastian Giovinco, but was done in 29 MLS matches.
