The Dallas Mavericks have announced that star Kyrie Irving will be out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his left knee.
During the first quarter of Monday's 122-98 loss to the Sacramento Kings, Irving was injured attempting a layup. Kyrie was helped to the line where he made two free throws and then helped off the court and did not return.
Over 50 games this season, Irving was averaging 24.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
