Kansas City Shooters Charged With Murder

The two shooters in the deadly shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs victory parade have been charged with the murder of Lisa Lopez-Galvan.  Lyndell Mays and Dominic Miller are both being charged as adults with second-degree murder, felony murder and are being held on a $1 million bond. Also, there are unlawful use of a weapon for shooting a person and two counts of armed criminal action charges.

The two individuals had no connection to each other, but got into a verbal dispute, which led to them pulling out their fire arms. Miller’s firearm is the one that actually struck Lopez-Galvan.

Jean Peters Baker, Jackson County Prosecutor indicated in a press conference there may be more than the two shooters and “will hold every shooter accountable for their actions on that day.” She added, “So, while we’re not there yet on every single individual, we’re going to get there.

This is an active and on going investigation.
