Justin Timberlake’s Attorney Vows to Fight DWI Charges

After being arrested on DWI charges in Sag Harbor, NY, earlier this week, Justin Timberlake’s lawyer Edward Burke Jr. said in a statement, “[We] look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. We will have a lot to say at the appropriate time. He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA’s office.”

At the time of the incident, Timberlake was said to have told the officer he’d only had one martini and was following friends home. He was also said to have refused a Breathalyzer. 

Burke Jr., Timberlake’s seasoned, powerhouse attorney is speculated to make a bid for a lesser charge of Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI). 

Along with the DWI charge, Timberlake was also cited for running a stop sign and failure to keep in his lane. His hearing will be on Friday, July 26.
