Judge Wins AL MVP

New York Yankees star, and captain Aaron Judge was unanimously named the American League MVP. 

Judge wins the award for the second time in three years. 

Judge had a career year setting career highs in average (.322), RBI's (144), and OPS (1,159). 

He joins Mickey Mantle (1956) as the only Yankee players to win the award unanimously. 

Judge (2022, 24) also became the seventh player in franchise history to win multiple MVP Awards joining Alex Rodriguez (2005, 07), Mickey Mantle (1956,57,62), Roger Maris (1960,61), Yogi Berra (1951, 54, 55), Joe DiMaggio (1939, 41, 47), and Lou Gehrig (1927, 36).
