New York Yankees captain and superstar outfielder, Aaron Judge was named captain for Team USA in the 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC).
On Monday, Judge announced he will be playing in the WBC during an MLB Network interview with Team USA manager Mark DeRosa.
"I wanted to be there... I was looking forward to this opportunity again."
"Everyone talked about the atmosphere, the experience, it's nothing like they've ever seen. Especially some guys that have never been in a playoff atmosphere, they're like, 'this is the best baseball I've ever played."
