Judge Just 5th Player in MLB History to Record 3rd 50 HR Season

New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge became just the fifth player in Major League Baseball (MLB) history to hit at least 50 home runs in three seasons during his career, when he hit a homer in his first at bat on Sunday afternoon against the Colorado Rockies.

Judge would hit his 51st dinger of the season in the seventh inning as part of back to back to back homers hit by Juan Soto, Judge, and Giancarlo Stanton in the Yankees 10-3 blowout of the Rockies.

With his first inning homer, Judge also tied the MLB record set by Alex Rodriguez (2001) with his 18th career first inning home run.
