Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic made history Friday night in the Nuggets 149-141 overtime win versus the Phoenix Suns becoming the first player in NBA history to have a stat line of 30-20-20.
The 22 assists are the most ever in a game by a center and are the most ever recorded as part of a 30 point triple-double.
Jokic finished his historic night with 31 points, 21 rebounds, and 22 assists.
After the game, Jokic said...
"It's gonna be nice to go finish my career, on my couch, and think I had a really good game."
Nuggets coach Mike Malone said...
"I can't describe him, so don't ask me to. When you're one-on-one in this league, with the great history of this league, that says something."
