While Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback was in Dallas for the Monday Night Football game, his home was getting burglarized. Burrow is the latest sport’s star to have his home broken into while at an away game.
In recent months, NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks’ Bobby Portis and Minnesota Timberwolves’ Mike Conley Jr., along with NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s homes have all been broken into.
When Burrow’s 22-year-old employee arrived at his home, a little after 8 p.m., she found a bedroom window shattered and the room ransacked. There is no current details or itemized list of what was taken.
Detectives are working on getting possible survallience videos from neighbors looking for suspects or any other details that can help in this case.
The FBI is also working on these high profile burglaries, which are believed to be affiliated with a South American Crime Syndicate.
