Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon has reclaimed his title as richest man according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index yesterday. Bezos net worth is currently at $200 billion.
Bezos dethroned Elon Musk, Tesla founder, after gaining $23 billion, while Musk lost $31 billion so far this year. Musk’s net worth is currently slightly behind at $198 billion.
Amazon’s share price rose by more than 18% this year, while Tesla’s dropped about 24%.
Chairman and CEO of LVMH (LVMHF), Bernard Arnault, luxury goods companies including Louis Vuitton, Dior and Celine, is running at a close third place with a net worth of $197 billion.
The three men, each at the top spot, have been ping ponging between each other in the recent years.
