On Saturday, June 10, 2023, President Joe Biden hosted the largest Pride event ever
in White House history.
Influencer Rose Montoya, model and activist identifying as transgender, flashed "her
breasts" in front of the White House, and basically got away with any indecent
exposure charges. The video of Montoya and friends topless was posted on
Instagram. Normal indecent exposure charges can result in jail time and/or
penalties and fines.
Biden called the attendees of the Pride event “Courageous, some of the bravest and
most inspiring people he knows.”
After the event, Montoya claimed in a TikTok video that since "she held her nipples,
she hadn’t broken any laws. He claimed that in doing so, "she had “Zero
intention of trying to be vulgar or be profane in any way.” He went on to say she
was “Simply living in joy.”
The White House put out a statement deeming this behavior “Disrespectful and
inappropriate” and also said Montoya and friends would not be invited to future
events.
