Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes has won the first Norris Trophy of his career.
The Norris Trophy is awarded to the NHL's best defenseman. The winner of the award is voted on by the Professional Hockey Writers Association at the end of the regular season.
Hughes led all defenseman with 75 assists and 92 points while playing in all 82 games for the Canucks.
