The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Vegas Golden Knights forward Brett Howden was suspended for 2 games for an illegal check to the head of Seattle Kraken forward Brandon Tanev.
Howden received a match penalty after the hit and given a 5 minute penalty. Tanev did not return to the game.
