The Republican led House of Representatives impeached Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Tuesday afternoon.
Republicans accused Mayorkas of deliberately failing to enforce border rules and betraying public confidence.
The vote was a narrow 214-213 to impeach Mayorkas. It now moves on to the Senate.
