Netflix has announced that it has given the green light to a sequel to the 1996 golf comedy "Happy Gilmore."
Adam Sandler will be back to reprise his role as Happy Gilmore. An aspiring hockey player that discovers a newfound talent for golf. In order to stop his grandmother's house from being foreclosed, Gilmore enters a golf tournament and faces off against Villain Shooter McGavin, played by Christopher McDonald.
The plot, full cast and release date have not been released yet.
