The headlining performer for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show at the Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday February 9th will be Kendrick Lamar.
Lamar also appeared in the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show in Inglewood, California along side Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige.
Kendrick Lamar put out a promotional video of multi-Grammy Award winning SZA splashing Lamar with a blue drink like a winning team would splash their coach after a game to tease the announcement that she will be joining him to perform at the 2025 halftime show.
SZA was a former label mate of Lamar’s as she appeared on his album GNX. The two have collaborated on songs like “Gloria” , “ Luther” , “30 for 30” , “All the Stars” , and “ Doves in the Wind”.
The NFL announced in November that artist Jon Batiste will perform the U. S. national anthem, “ The Star Spangled Banner”. Batiste is a New Orleans native and has won five Grammys and one Academy Award for his work as a singer, songwriter and composer.
