After the controversy, Bud Light got back in April for featuring transgender Dylan Mulvaney, parent company Anheuser-Busch is going back to its humorous roots in a 60 second commercial that will air during the third quarter of the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The commercial is costing the company $14 million and will feature Peyton Manning, Dana White, Post Malone and the Bud Light Genie, a new character they will introduce.
The company is said to have lost nearly $30 billion in sales along with many people losing their jobs as well.
Former President Trump posted in part, “The Bud Light ad was a mistake of epic proportions, and for that a very big price was paid, but Anheuser-Busch is not a Woke company… Anheuser-Busch is a Great American Brand that perhaps deserves a Second Chance? What do you think?”
Trumps full post lists all the charitable contributions and accolades the company has made.
The company’s stock has already seen a 3% today.
