It’s reported that by the end of 2025, Five Below intends to open at least 150 new retail stores.
Five Below’s CFO Kristy Chapman states, “We expect to open 50 new stores in the first quarter and sales are expected to be between flat and positive 2%.” She also commented that an additional 22 Five Below stores were opened at the end of the fourth quarter on December 31, 2024.
There’s no set dates yet on when the remaining 100 other locations will open nationwide, but they’ll most likely be spread out throughout the remainder of the year.
Five Below’s website records its store count is approximately 1,807 across 45 states.
With all the new locations coming this year, that would put Five Below extremely close to 2,000 locations.
