The New York Mets continue to sell off its pieces amid a disappointing season that had high hopes of getting back to the World Series. They have now traded another ace in right handed starter and 3 time Cy Young Award winner Justin Verlander. They sent him back to the Houston Astros just days after sending fellow ace Max Scherzer to the Texas Rangers. They have also traded closer/setup man David Robertson to the Miami Marlins and 1st baseman/outfielder Mark Canha to the Milwaukee Brewers.
