The Boilermakers continued its March Madness push towards their first NCAA title. Zach Edey had 20 points and 12 rebounds for Purdue. DJ Home led the Wolfpack with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Purdue (34-4) will play the Connecticut Huskies on Monday, April 8th for the Championship.
#4 Alabama Crimson Tide - 72
#1 Connecticut Huskies - 86
The Huskies (36-3) bid for a repeat championship moves to Monday as they will take on the Purdue Boilermakers for the NCAA title. Connecticut got 21 points from freshman Stephon Castle and 18 points from Donovan Clingan. Alabama's Mark Sears led all scorers with 24 points and Grant Nelson added 19 points and 15 rebounds for the Crimson Tide.
