Edey Wins Wooden Award Again

Purdue Boilermakers star Zach Edey was named the winner of the 2024 John R. Wooden Award Men's Player of the Year for the second straight year.

In 39 starts, Edey averaged 25.2 points per game, 12.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocks leading the Boilermakers to their first national final in 55 years.

He became just the second player in Wooden Award history to win the award multiple times. Virginia great Ralph Sampson also won the award back-to-back in the early 80's.
