It was a night for the record books at the NBA All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana last night.
Led by Damian Lillard's 39 points, the East beat the West 211-186. Lillard was named All-Star MVP.
Lillard's 39 points led the Eastern Conference followed by Jaylon Brown with 36 and Tyrese Haliburton adding 32 points.
Leading the Western Conference and all scorers was Karl-Anthony Towns with 50 points followed by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 31.
The 211 points put up by the Eastern Conference was the most points scored in the 73 year history of the All-Star Game. It passed the West's 196 set in 2016.
The 397 total points crushed the old record of 374 set in 2017.
The 42 3-pointers made by the East broke the 35 made by team LeBron in 2019.
The 193 combined first half points scored broke the 191 combined set last year in any half of a game.
The East tied the record for most points scored in any half when they reached 104 points by intermission.
The East attempted 97 3-pointers, breaking the 2019 record of 90 by team LeBron.
The teams broke the record for 3's, combining for 66 3-pointers made and 168 3-pointers attempted, breaking the records of 62 and 167 set in 2019.
The teams also broke the records for field goals made and attempted when they combined for 163 field goals made and 289 attempted. The previous records were 162 made set in 2017 and 286 attempted set in 2016.
