The Los Angeles Dodgers are not done. After their $700 million deal with Shohei Ohtani, the Dodgers have traded for starter Tyler Glasnow from the Tampa Bay Rays. As part of the trade, they are finalizing a 5 year $135 million contract extension with Glasnow. It's officially a 4 year $110 million extension as they reworked his $25 million salary he had coming in 2024 to a $15 million salary and a $10 million signing bonus.
The Dodgers have a $30 million club option in 2029 that will become a $20 million player option if the club declines that option.
