Dodgers Clinch Postseason

The Los Angeles Dodgers used a 6-6, 3HR, 10 RBI night from Shohei Ohtani on Thursday night to rout the Miami Marlins 20-4 and clinch a playoff spot.

Ohtani became the first player in MLB history to hit three home runs and have two stolen bases in a game. He also set a Dodgers franchise record with his 50th and 51st homers. The previous record was held by Sean Green with 49 in 2001.

The Dodgers join the Milwaukee Brewers, New York Yankees, and the Cleveland Guardians as the four teams who have clinched a playoff spot so far.
