Disney World’s Splash Mountain ride, which originally opened in October 1992, then closed in January 2023, will re-open after getting re-imagined with a Princess Tiana inspired ride.
Princess Tiana, from the Princess and the Frog, will be starring in the new ride; Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, set to open on June 28, 2024. The new ride picks up after what happens in the movie.
Disney World has invited a New Orleans high school marching band to join them for the opening of the ride.
