Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis announced today he will be deploying nearly 1,000 of Florida’s National Guard and State Guards to Texas to help fight the migrant crisis.
“It’s as bad as it’s ever been at the southern border… Biden has the authority to close this border today if he wanted to. He lacks the will to get the job done,” DeSantis said in a press conference. He said, “Today we are going to fortify our presence along the southern border.
We’re providing up to one battalion of Florida National Guard as well as our first ever deployment of the Florida State Guard…so that we can stop this invasion for once and for all.”
Twenty-five states are standing behind Texas and vowing to help in any way Governor Abbott needs.
