President Donald Trump's defense team rested its case on Tuesday in his ridiculous New York trial after Trump's lead attorney Todd Blanche finished questioning the final witness and then rested the case.
After Blanche's announcement, the prosecution declined to call any rebuttal witnesses.
Crooked Judge Juan Merchan, who continues to do the White House's bidding and doing everything he can to keep Trump off the campaign trail with a goal of sending him to prison for no crime at all has decided to delay closing arguments until after Memorial Day weekend.
Court will resume next Tuesday even though they could have continued today instead of finishing early, and also could have been in session on Wednesday and Thursday this week before wrapping up for the holiday weekend.
