Deadly Storms Raged Across the South & Midwest

Several storms across the south and central Midwest left at least 19 dead. Heavy rain, flash flooding, strong winds, large hail and tornadoes ripped across Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.

Businesses and homes were destroyed, trees and power lines were knocked down, leaving tens of thousands without power, and roads and bridges were flooded.

The line of severe storms has shifted and is expected to hit the southeast and Georgia is facing tornado warnings. North Florida and up to the Mid Atlantic are in the path of the storms for Monday.
