Director David Lynch passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 78. Lynch would have been 79 on Monday January 20, 2025.
It’s been reported that Lynch passed after having to evacuate and relocate from the L.A. fires. Lynch was diagnosed with a chronic lung disease, emphysema from many years of smoking.
The director was known for his unique classics “ Twin Peaks “ , “Blue Velvet” , “ Mulholland Drive” and “ The Elephant Man”.
Lynch never won an Academy Award but has received nominations for directing. David Lynch was presented with an honorary Oscar for lifetime achievement in 2019.
Lynch’s family has kindly asked for some privacy during this sad time so they can grieve.
