According to Davidson officials, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry will be joining his alma mater as an assistant general manager for its basketball programs becoming the first active athlete across all major American professional sports to take an administrative job with an NCAA team.
Curry will provide guidance and advice to male and female players.
Steph, alongside his wife Ayesha, and other supporters will create an eight-figure fund for both the men's and women's programs.
*** Curry spent three seasons at Davidson from 2006-09 before being drafted No. 7 by the Golden State Warriors. He set the NCAA record for most three pointers made in a single season with 162.
