The Chicago Cubs have acquired All-Star third baseman Isaac Paredes from the Tampa Bay Rays for third baseman Christopher Morel and prospects, right-handed starter TY Johnson and right-handed reliever Hunter Bigge.
Paredes is hitting .249 with 16 HR's and 55 RBI's over 101 games this season.
