Pittsburgh Penguins star and captain Sidney Crosby passed Penguins legend Mario Lemieux as the Penguins' all-time leader in assists on Sunday against the New York Islanders with his 1,034 assists.
Lemieux said...
"I want to congratulate Sid on setting the team's assist record. He's an amazing player, and we're so fortunate to have him in Pittsburgh. I look forward to even more great things from him."
Crosby accomplished the feat in his 1,310th game. Lemieux reached his 1,033rd assists in 915 games.
