Clark Wins Rookie of the Year Award

Probably to no surprise to any WNBA fans, Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever was awarded the Rookie of the Year award for the 2024 season. Clark nearly had a unanimous decision; only one vote went toward Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky.

Some of Clark’s rookie year accolades include breaking the WNBA’s single season assist record, breaking the rookie scoring record and becoming the first rookie to score a triple double ever in history.

Clark averaged 19.2 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game and lead the league with 8.4 assists per game, becoming the first rookie to ever lead in that category.

Clark has lived up to the hype of being the number 1 overall draft pick for Indiana.
