The National Football League (NFL) has suspended Los Angeles Chargers defensive back Derwin James for 1 game without pay for repeated violations of health and safety rules.
In a letter to James, NFL vice president of football operations, Jon Runyan wrote...
"Your continued disregard for NFL playing rules will not be tolerated."
James' latest infraction came on a third quarter hit on Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth in Sunday's game.
