The Boston Celtics will soon have a new owner. Current owner Wyc Grousbeck has agreed to sell the team to a group led by William Chisholm for a record setting $6.1 billion.
Chisholm said...
"Growing up on the North Shore and attending college in New England, I have been a die-hard Celtics fan my entire life."
Chisholm is the managing partner and co-founder of the private equity firm Symphony Technology Group. He is also the co-founder of The Valent Group.
The NBA's board of governors still has to approve the sale.
