CDK Global Restored Some Dealership’s Issues

After the CDK Global cyber attack last week, the company has now restored systems for a small group of dealerships. Dealerships across the country have been at a standstill after the outages occurred.

Initially, the company said it wouldn’t have systems restored until at least Sunday, but, there has been some progress with a test group of some dealerships. The company didn’t say how many dealerships were part of that test group.

A spokesperson for CDK Global said, “We have successfully brought a small initial test group of dealers live on the Dealer Management System (DMS), and once validation is complete we will begin phasing in other dealers… We are also actively working to bring live additional applications – including our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Service solutions – and our Customer Care channels.”

The company added, “We do feel it’s important to share that we do not believe we will be able to get all dealers live prior to June 30.”
