Canó Signs With Mexican Baseball League

Second baseman Robinson Canó has signed to play with the Mexico City Diablos Rojos (Red Devils) of the Mexican Baseball League.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed. 


The 8 time All-Star,  Canó played 17 years in the big leagues.  Most of that time spent with the New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners. He's also played with the New York Mets, San Diego Padres and finished his career with the Atlanta Braves in 2022. 


*** The New York Yankees have a two game exhibition series against the Diablos Rojos in Mexico City on March 24th-25th.  Canó was part of the Yankees last World Series Championship in 2009.
