California Storms Update

Updated: Feb 6

Parts of Southern California have already seen more than a foot of rain over the last three days, and more rain is expected today. At least 3 people have died already, more than16 million are under rare high risk of excessive rainfall, nearly 400 mudslides have occurred and more than 200,000 people are without power.

Evacuation orders are still in place in some areas as fears of more mudslides and flooding threatens Los Angeles and San Diego. Santa Barbara and Ventura’s evacuation orders have been lifted.

With the storm moving west, Las Vegas, NV and Phoenix, AZ could possibly have flash flooding problems and tornados.
