The 2024 WNBA’s draft, presented by State Farm, was last night, and as expected, Caitlin Clark, guard from the University of Iowa was the number one overall pick. Clark, the two-time Naismith Player of the Year and all-time leading scorer in Division I history, men or women, was chosen by the Indiana Fever.
Clark will team up with last year’s WNBA Rookie of the Year, Aliyah Boston. The two together are speculated to create a “dynamic duo” in the Fever’s upcoming season, bringing excitement to the women’s sport.
