Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver; Mike Evans makes NFL history with his 10th straight, 1,000 receiving yards season. Evans is actually the first wide receiver in NFL history to reach the 1,000-yard mark in each of his first 10 seasons in the league.
Evans pushed passed the record at Sunday’s 21-18 win over the Carolina Panthers after racking up 162 receiving yards. Sunday’s game also marked the 13th time he had over 150 receiving yards in a game.
Hall of Famer Jerry Rice set the record at 11 straight seasons from 1986-1996; now Evans has the second longest streak.
