The Buffalo Bills have traded their best receiver to the Houston Texans for just a 2025 second round pick. The Bills did not even clear cap space as they will take an NFL record dead cap hit for a non-quarterback at $31.096 million in 2024.
The Texans not only received Diggs, but also picked up a 2024 sixth round draft pick and a 2025 fifth round pick. The Texans are the clear winners of this deal.
"I can't begin to express the amount of love and respect I have for the city of Buffalo. Four of the best years of my life; the city welcomed me with open arms. I'm forever grateful for you all and the Buffalo Bills organization," Diggs posted on Instagram.
